H-O-U-S-E!!!

Here are pictures of the building process so far - starting at the bare land up until the sheetrock which is where we are now. We started in the third week of October. It has went pretty fast considering all the rain we have had.

It's hard to see but there are orange stakes staking out the layout of the house.

Footers

The kids on top of one of the huge dirt piles left after they dug for the footers.

Block being laid.

Subfloor

Framing

More framing and some trusts

Almost completely roofed

This is where we are now. This is the living room.

Kitchen

Back of the house and the deck.

Check out that garage door :)

Front of the house without the sidewalks and porch.

RMS Basketball

These are the best of the middle school basketball pics. Not much you can do when you are keeping up with a 3 year old :) Middle School basketball is almost over. District tournaments start next week in Eagleton (Blount County). The next three pictures are from the last regular season game and the last two pictures are from the first game of the season.
He got the rebound.

Look how much bigger this kid is than Colyer.

Getting ready for the rebound.

Getting offensive position against Harriman

Colyer didn't even think he would get to play but ended up going in in the 2nd quarter (he is only in the 6th grade). I thought he was going to pee his pants while waiting at the scorer's table.

Colyer's 1st Middle School Game - on the bench until the 2nd quarter.

Let It Snow!

The recent snow sent us home early from school on Thurs. and we didn't go back until the next Thurs. It was a nice little extra break to get caught up on some house cleaning, organizing and new house planning.

The Emory River - It was getting a little dark but it still turned out great.

This is coming out onto the highway. The kids think it looks like a giant mouth.

The same shot during the daytime.
