Jackson's 11th Birthday!

For Jackson's birthday we didn't do a regular party since he is getting a little to old for that. He decided to have a couple of friends over for a sleepover which turned into about 8 people over. Boys can be about as loud and giggly as girls can. They want to talk to the wee hours in the morning too.

Are you ready now?

Yep! That's a lot of candles.

Finally all blown out.

First Bus Ride

Everyday I was hearing why can't I ride the bus. So we decided to let Dawson ride with her and get off the bus at our house. She thought that was the best thing ever. Rhylan wants to be like the other kids so bad for example: riding the school bus home, getting dropped off in the car rider line in the morning and getting a lunch from the cafeteria. Being a teacher's kid getting dropped off in the car rider line in the morning hasn't happened yet. Getting a lunch from the cafeteria is a treat for Rhylan. She gets so excited when she doesn't take a lunchbox. Crazy :)
Getting off the school bus. I am the dorky mom standing in the front yard taking pictures of her kid getting off the school bus. HA! HA!

Dawson rode the bus with her so she would have someone on there till the end since she would be one of the last ones on the bus.

First Day of Pre-K

About a week before school started we decided we would let Rhylan go to Pre-K. She had begged and begged to go to big school with me. Jeremy was totally against it. He finally gave in and there were only two open spots left in Pre-K. So we had to hurry and get all our paper work in. Luckily she got in. She LOVES it!!!
Look at what walked into my bathroom at like 6:45. Scarey isn't it.
Joking!!!

Rhylan was ready to go for the first day of Pre-K.

Poor Pedro the cat

A meltdown over something important like where I parked or what door she got out of.

At school and ready to go!!!!

Ober Gatlinburg

Granny called and wanted to know if we wanted to go to Gatlinburg with her and Peyton and some of Peyton's friends so we didn't have anything to do. It was the weekend before school started and the first weekend we hadn't had baseball in forever. The girls wanted to go to Ober Gatlinburg, neither Jeremy or myself had ever been. It was fun. Rhylan ice skated for the first time which was cool.

Getting ready to ice skate

Riding the bobsled down the mountain
Riding the chair lift up the mountain. Rhylan wanted me to go with her but I am terrified of heights. The longer I waited the more sick I felt. So Jeremy rode up with her. They chose to come down after only going halfway up the mountain. I don't blame them :)

Happy 4th Birthday Rhylan

We celebrated Rhylan's 4th birthday with a Princess party on July 3rd. She was set on a Snow White cake but Cinderella was the best we could do. She enjoyed it. She loves birthday parties whether it is hers or someone elses. I can't believe Rhylan is 4 it seems like not too long ago she was just crawling. Wow time flies! Happy Birthday Rhylan!!!

Panama City Beach

Jackson's travel baseball team was playing in a tournament in Panama City Beach. After endless fundraising we get to Panama City lose all three games, the BP oil is quickly heading to the beach and the humidity is extremely high along with temps in the upper 90's. Besides that it was a great trip. It started out bad though. Rhylan started throwing up and running a fever the first night we were there. Must have been a little bug b/c she was fine the next day. We all got a little burnt OUCH! We rode the aquacycle and the banana boat. Everyone ate tons of seafood and we found out we love to crab hunt. All in all it was a good trip and we didn't ever encounter oil (thank goodness). The pictures are backwards - they start the last night and end on the first day.
While waiting to go into Guy Harvey's restaurant (which was so good)

Post-Game meal at Olive Garden

Trying to lay down a bunt.

Catcher

The Aquacycle - a giant tricycle in water. Jeremy and Colyer took the first turn on the aquacycle and then me and Delaney took the next turn. Delaney could barely reach the pedals so I was doing most of the pedaling. My legs were hurting so bad.

What a workout.

At night all of the kids would go crab hunting.
They absolutely loved this.

Dawson with one of the biggest crabs they caught.

AHHH! Makes me want to move to the beach.

Playing in the sand

The green water matched Rhylan's swimsuit :)

The water was so green b/c of all the algae.
You would have green slime on you.
This was only the first day.

The boys loved playing beach volleyball.
How sweet!
